Wednesday 15th March 2017: Celebrating Social Work Event: Belfast, Northern Ireland SOLD OUT

I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be heading to Northern Ireland in the build-up to World Social Work Day 2017.

I’m going to be the keynote speaker at The Belfast Trust’s Celebrating Social Work event where I’ll be talking about uniting Social Workers in 2017.

I have 50 free tickets for this event to give away to qualified Social Workers (a light lunch is also included).

Friday 11th November 2016: BASW Student & NQSW Conference: York, England SOLD OUT

I’ll be one of the guest speakers at the BASW Student and NQSW Conference which will take place in York on Friday 11th November.

Registration is from 9am and the Conference starts at 9.30am

This looks like it will be a brilliant event with a great range of guest speakers, workshops and discussion panels.

Thursday 15th September 2016: IamSocialWork SuperVision Tour: Leeds, England

On Thursday the 15th of September 2016 I will be a guest speaker as part of the IamSocialWork Supervision 2016 tour.

I’ll be running a workshop on the positive side of Social Work and looking at how we can get better at telling the world what a great job we do.

The other confirmed speaker is Dr Sharon Shoesmith.

IamSocialWork is an excellent project that aims to bring professionals and students together, offer support, provide network opportunities and inspire attendees.

Tuesday 30th August 2016: Randstad Qualified Social Worker Event: London, England

All aboard! Join me on Tuesday 30th August for a Qualified Social Worker event with Randstad Social Care.

Docked in Canary Wharf, the Clipper Stad Amsterdam will play host to a breakfast and lunch event where you will get the chance to be in attendance as myself and Dr Jo Finch will deliver Social Work seminars.

I’ll be taking the morning session which will focus on how Social Work can get better at raising its public image and sharing the good work that we do.
